Solution Architect, Vehicle Technology CoE
Description
This role is for a hands-on technologist who can talk architecture with OEM engineering leaders in the morning and build a working prototype in the afternoon. You'll have real influence on how AWS shows up in the automotive industry.
Key job responsibilities
Technical strategy: Guide the worldwide technical strategy for Vehicle Technology across SDV, ADAS/AV and E/E Architecture, and turn industry trends into reference architectures and solution patterns.
Pilot customer engagements: Lead pilot engagements with strategic automotive customers from discovery through proof of concept, and help turn them into production pipeline.
Partner ecosystem: Choose and work closely with key automotive partners (silicon, simulation, middleware, toolchain and systems integrators) to build joint solutions.
Industry demos: Build demos for flagship events such as AWS re:Invent, CES and IAA Mobility, working with account solutions architects.
Ambassador programs: Represent AWS in strategic technology ambassador programs, such as with NVIDIA and OpenAI.
Thought leadership: Speak at conferences, write blogs and whitepapers, and give product teams feedback from the field.
A day in the life
No two days are the same. In the morning you might meet with the E/E architecture team at a European OEM to look at how a zonal compute design maps to a cloud-native development and validation toolchain. Around midday you could join a working session with a silicon or simulation partner to scope a joint reference architecture for virtual ECUs and large-scale ADAS simulation. In the afternoon you might get hands-on with a prototype for the next CES or IAA Mobility demo, working with an account solutions architect who has a customer ready to see it.
