A solutions architect role in Singapore for a banking/regulated-industry client, leading end-to-end enterprise solution design, integration, and architecture governance. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of end-to-end enterprise technology solutions aligned with business and IT strategy
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, architecture designs, and integration models
- Develop and maintain architecture standards, principles, and reference frameworks
- Provide technical leadership across implementation, integration, and migration phases
- Facilitate architecture governance and ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of solutions
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools
- Prepare clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and presentations for varied audiences
- Mentor and guide team members, including architects and engineers
- Support vendor evaluation and management to ensure alignment with technical direction
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or related technical roles
- Experience in the banking, finance, or highly regulated industries.
- Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale enterprise solutions across on-premises and cloud environments
- Strong understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, software architecture patterns, and data modeling
- Experience in designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage
