Solutions Architect
Summary
Designs and implements Workday-based HR and finance transformation solutions, integrating systems via API-led architectures while aligning technical and business priorities.
Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong, demonstrable Workday experience
- HR and Finance transformation expertise
- Proven solution architecture experience in complex environments
- Knowledge of API-led architecture and integration strategies
- Experience working with third-party implementation partners
- Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills
- The ability to balance technical constraints, competing priorities and delivery deadlines
- Lead technical discovery and assess the existing application landscape
- Define the target and transitional architecture
- Map dependencies, data flows and integration points
- Determine which services should be adapted, enhanced or replaced
- Design integrations between Workday and the wider technology estate, covering APIs, messaging and data exchange
- Produce solution designs, architecture diagrams and interface specifications
- Present recommendations to the Technical Design Authority for approval
- Work closely with delivery teams, SMEs, suppliers and senior stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical, secure, scalable, resilient and maintainable
