Solutions Architect

Summary

Designs and implements Workday-based HR and finance transformation solutions, integrating systems via API-led architectures while aligning technical and business priorities.

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Strong, demonstrable Workday experience
  • HR and Finance transformation expertise
  • Proven solution architecture experience in complex environments
  • Knowledge of API-led architecture and integration strategies
  • Experience working with third-party implementation partners
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills
  • The ability to balance technical constraints, competing priorities and delivery deadlines
Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical discovery and assess the existing application landscape
  • Define the target and transitional architecture
  • Map dependencies, data flows and integration points
  • Determine which services should be adapted, enhanced or replaced
  • Design integrations between Workday and the wider technology estate, covering APIs, messaging and data exchange
  • Produce solution designs, architecture diagrams and interface specifications
  • Present recommendations to the Technical Design Authority for approval
  • Work closely with delivery teams, SMEs, suppliers and senior stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical, secure, scalable, resilient and maintainable
