Solutions Architect

Freedom Fuels is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join our Technology team at our Eagle Farm Support Office on a 24-month contract, with the possibility of permanent employment.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can take a business need, understand the bigger picture and turn it into a practical, scalable and secure technology solution.
Working across our retail, wholesale and corporate operations, you'll have exposure to a broad technology environment including ERP, POS, EFTPOS, loyalty, digital platforms, integrations, cloud technologies and reporting systems.
What you'll do
Translate business requirements into practical solution designs and technical specifications
Design and improve solutions across enterprise applications, cloud and SaaS platforms
Support integrations using APIs, middleware and data exchange technologies
Provide technical expertise across ERP, POS, EFTPOS, loyalty, digital and reporting platforms
Play a key role in technology projects from planning and design through to testing and implementation
Partner with business stakeholders, vendors and implementation partners to deliver effective solutions
Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, reliability and scalability
Ensure solutions consider security, governance, compliance and operational requirements
What you'll bring
5+ years' experience in Solution Architecture, Systems Analysis, Applications Architecture, Integration Design or a similar role
Strong experience with enterprise applications and system integrations
Experience across cloud-based and SaaS environments
The ability to turn complex business requirements into clear, workable technology solutions
Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
A practical, analytical approach to solving problems and improving systems
Experience delivering or supporting technology projects in complex business environments
Experience across retail, fuel, logistics, wholesale or multi-site operations, along with Azure, ERP, POS/EFTPOS or customer-facing digital platforms, will be highly regarded.
