Solutions Architect
Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 per year
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale, mission-critical technology solutions. The role covers applications, infrastructure network, cybersecurity, integration, and edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end solution architecture from requirements through deployment and support.
Work with customers, business teams, technical teams, and vendors to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Design scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient systems.
Develop architecture, integration, network, security, and deployment designs.
Define APIs, system interfaces, messaging, and integration solutions.
Select suitable technologies, platforms, hardware, and third-party solutions.
Ensure solutions meet security, regulatory, operational, and performance requirements.
Prepare architecture documents, diagrams, technical specifications, risks, and design decisions.
Support tenders, proposals, technical presentations, and customer discussions.
Support testing, deployment, go-live, troubleshooting, and production stabilisation.
Coordinate technical teams, project managers, suppliers, and third parties.
Review vendor solutions to ensure they meet technical and architectural requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
15+ years of relevant experience in solution architecture, systems integration, or mission-critical systems.
Experience designing and delivering integrated solutions involving software, infrastructure, networks, hardware, edge devices, and third-party systems.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, microservices, databases, and enterprise technologies.
Good understanding of networking, including LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and QoS.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity, including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, vulnerability management, and logging.
Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and recoverable systems.
Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
