Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as the technical partner for strategic enterprise customers throughout the entire customer lifecycle. You will lead technical discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, onboarding, integrations, and ongoing optimization. Working closely with Account Executives, you will translate complex customer requirements into scalable solutions across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will collaborate directly with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, MLOps teams, and technical executives to design production-ready data and AI workflows. The role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing leadership, business acumen, and strategic problem-solving. You will play a critical role in driving adoption, expansion, and long-term customer value while helping organizations build more effective AI and machine learning systems.
Accountabilities
- Partner with Account Executives on strategic enterprise opportunities, leading technical discovery, tailored demonstrations, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concepts using real customer data and workflows.
- Drive technical onboarding by guiding customers through installation, secure configuration, and best-practice deployment across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Architect integrations between the platform and customer artificial intelligence and machine learning workflows, data pipelines, storage systems, and enterprise technologies.
- Develop custom solutions, including scripts, plug-ins, and application programming interfaces (APIs), to address unique customer requirements and extend platform capabilities.
- Serve as the senior technical escalation point for strategic accounts, resolving complex technical challenges in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Support teams.
- Deliver technical enablement sessions, workshops, and documentation that help customer teams become self-sufficient and maximize platform adoption.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer engineering, data, and AI/ML teams throughout implementation and ongoing usage.
- Support customer adoption, expansion, and long-term success by identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and increase business value.
- Manage multiple complex enterprise accounts and competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of technical and customer engagement.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services Engineer, or a similar position supporting highly technical products, ideally within enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) or machine learning/artificial intelligence platforms.
- Hands-on experience building data labeling pipelines, annotation workflows, or other components of the machine learning lifecycle, with the ability to explain technical concepts effectively to both engineers and senior executives.
- Proven experience integrating SaaS platforms with machine learning pipelines and workflows, including experience deploying models to production or preparing production-ready datasets for data science teams.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs, Linux/Unix, and Docker, with Kubernetes experience considered a plus.
- Experience working with multiple customer APIs and software development kits (SDKs); JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and HyperText Markup Language (HTML) experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts during sales cycles, followed by ownership of onboarding, implementation, troubleshooting, and custom development after the sale.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate customer challenges into clear technical and business value propositions.
- Executive presence, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and technical executives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate customer concerns and proactively address technical objections.
- Comfortable managing multiple complex enterprise accounts, shifting priorities, and technically demanding customer requirements.
- Base salary targeted between $122,500–$143,500 USD, based on experience and skills.
- Variable compensation eligibility, with anticipated On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $175,000–$205,000 USD when objectives are met.
