Mirakl Marketplace Architect

We are seeking an experienced Mirakl Marketplace Architect to lead the architecture and integration of a third-party marketplace for a large omnichannel retailer. This role will be responsible for defining the end-to-end solution architecture across Mirakl and the existing e-commerce ecosystem, enabling a seamless 1P + 3P customer experience.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with Mirakl Marketplace implementations, strong API and integration expertise, and a proven background in enterprise/solution architecture within complex commerce environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall architecture for the Mirakl Marketplace implementation and integration with the existing commerce ecosystem.
• Design scalable integration patterns connecting Mirakl with PIM, e-commerce/commerce platforms, search, cart/checkout, order management, and other enterprise systems.
• Define and oversee Mirakl API and integration architecture, including REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous integration patterns.
• Architect and support seller, product, and offer lifecycle management across marketplace and existing commerce systems.
• Design and integrate Mirakl order workflows and marketplace operational processes.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops with client stakeholders, technology partners, Mirakl solution consultants, and implementation teams.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture solutions.
• Drive architecture decisions across microservices, cloud- platforms, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure architectural designs are successfully implemented.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Identify integration risks, technical dependencies, and opportunities to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or a related technical architecture role.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Mirakl Marketplace implementations.
• Deep experience with Mirakl APIs and integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of seller, product, and offer lifecycle management.
• Experience designing and integrating Mirakl order workflows and marketplace operations.
• Strong background in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous integration.
• Strong Java / Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud- architecture.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with clients, technology partners, and implementation teams.
• Experience facilitating technical discovery and architecture workshops.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or e-commerce industry experience.
• Experience integrating marketplace platforms with enterprise PIM, commerce, search, checkout, and OMS solutions.
• Experience working within large-scale omnichannel commerce environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern cloud- integration technologies.
