SOLUTIONS ENGINEER [Job Code 2609127A]

Due to expansion of our client's business, we continue to look for suitable candidates to work at our client's office and data centre site. Write to us if you are an individual who has experience in the activities listed below, and is keen to take up new challenges!

Responsibilities:

• Understand project scope and client requirements to support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

• Conduct site surveys and gather project-specific data when required.

• Prepare cost estimations, evaluate vendor quotations, and compare proposals for compliance and value.

• Draft tender documentation, quotations, and project deliverables.

• Review and interpret system drawings, specifications, and requirements for compliance with tender documents, and raise queries against any potential discrepancies.

• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to translate client requirements into feasible solutions.

• Provide pre-sales technical input and support to the sales team during client engagements.

• Source, engage, and communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, lead times, and technical compliance.

• Liaise with internal customers, and external suppliers and vendors, to maintain up-to-date records of material quantities, project costs and specification.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma with at least 1 year of experience in Engineering, preferably in data centre or critical environment. (Fresh degree/diploma holder can be considered)

• Certification in workplace safety (eg. WSQ, WSH) preferred.

• Positive proactive attitude and ethical behaviour.

• Team player with ability to work independently and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
