Solutions Engineer (Mechanical Piping & Data Centre Cooling)

Supports tender preparation and engineering coordination for mechanical piping and liquid cooling systems in data centers, using AutoCAD and Excel.
About the Role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to support the Solutions team in tender preparation and engineering coordination for mechanical pipework and liquid cooling systems.
This role provides early-career engineers with exposure to data centre cooling infrastructure, prefabricated piping systems, and technical solution development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tender & Proposal Support
Assist in preparing technical proposals and tender submissions.
Prepare equipment lists, system descriptions, and technical documentation.
Support quantity take-off and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation for pipework systems.
Liaise with vendors to obtain technical information and budget quotations.
Assist in preparing technical comparison and proposal documents.
2. Engineering Coordination
Assist in the preparation and coordination of piping layouts and technical drawings.
Support the review of P&ID, piping drawings, and vendor technical drawings.
Coordinate with BIM Engineers and project teams on piping layouts.
Maintain technical documentation and drawing records.
3. Systems & Technology Exposure
Engineers in this role will gain exposure to:
High-density data centre cooling systems.
Cooling Distribution Units (CDU).
Secondary loop liquid cooling pipework.
Stainless steel piping systems.
Prefabricated pipe modules and DFMA construction.
Requirements
Education
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
Experience
Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–3 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, M&E projects, or piping systems are welcome to apply.
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of mechanical piping or HVAC systems.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Familiarity with AutoCAD.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
