Summary

Solutions engineer on Momentic's go-to-market team: leads technical discovery, demos, and POCs, then owns onboarding and CI/CD implementations of its AI-native software testing platform, acting as a trusted technical advisor pre- and post-sales. Needs 2+ years software engineering experience and hands-on CI/CD skills.

Momentic is building the definitive verification layer for software: an AI-native testing platform that helps engineering teams catch bugs before they ship. As AI accelerates software development, teams need a reliable way to verify that their products work. Engineering teams at Notion, Webflow, Xero and Whatnot use Momentic to ship with confidence.

You’ll join our go-to-market team, reporting to our Head of GTM, and help customers evaluate, implement, and get the most out of Momentic across pre- and post-sales. We’re looking for a customer-minded engineer who enjoys talking to people, gets hands-on with technical problems, and earns trust through clear explanations and follow-through.

What you’ll do

  • Lead technical discovery and demos with engineers, QA teams, and engineering leaders.

  • Own technical POCs alongside AEs: define success criteria, refine technical requirements, resolve blockers, and help customers reach an informed decision.

  • Run customer onboarding and implementations, from initial test coverage through CI/CD integration.

  • Be a trusted technical advisor: answer deeply technical questions, explain product behavior and tradeoffs, and recommend testing approaches that fit each customer’s needs.

  • Own the technical customer relationship from evaluation through implementation and ongoing adoption, helping teams resolve blockers and make sound testing decisions. Partner with engineering when deeper investigation is needed.

  • Bring customer feedback and implementation lessons into product and engineering.

  • Help build our solutions engineering practice. Improve demos, onboarding, implementation, and troubleshooting, and build tools and automations that make customer work more effective.

You’re perfect for this role if…

  • You have 2+ years of technical experience in software engineering.

  • You can read and write code, debug unfamiliar systems, and reason through applications, APIs, environments, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • You have hands-on experience with CI/CD setups and providers such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Buildkite, or Bitrise, source control, the terminal and command line, and agentic coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Codex.

  • You enjoy working with customers, asking thoughtful questions, and helping them solve technical problems.

  • You earn engineers’ trust through clear written and live communication, sound technical judgment, and follow-through.

  • You’re organized and can keep multiple evaluations and implementations moving. You can break technical work into clear steps, coordinate with AEs and customer teams, and follow through on blockers.

You don’t need to have held a Solutions Engineer title before. We welcome engineers who enjoy working directly with customers.
