Solutions Integration (DevOps) Engineer

The Solutions Integration Engineer will design and implement API-based integrations and middleware to connect media platforms and third-party ecosystems. The role focuses on building scalable workflows and maintaining system observability using Prometheus and Grafana.
Christy Media Solutions is recruiting for a newly created Solutions Integration (DevOps) Engineer position supporting our client’s transition towards IP-centric, Software-as-a-Service broadcast services.
Working within the architecture function, you’ll be responsible for turning high-level designs into working integrations, creating the connectivity between core media platforms and third‑party ecosystems.
A major focus will be helping develop a unified integration approach, reducing the need for individual integrations between every vendor platform, orchestration system and front‑end service.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing integrations with third‑party APIs, including REST, gRPC and Webhooks.
- Developing middleware and integration workflows.
- Translating requirements into scalable technical integrations.
- Building and maintaining observability using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Helping define standards for communication between internal systems and external partner platforms.
- Working closely with architects to turn high-level designs into deployed solutions.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven API‑led connectivity and middleware architecture experience.
- Strong development capability in at least one of Python, Go or Java.
- Strong understanding of Prometheus and Grafana.
- An independent, problem‑solving approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Broadcast experience is beneficial, but extensive industry knowledge is not essential.
The role is approximately two days per week from the London office
