The Company…

The company is a well-recognised supplier of sheet metal, sawing, fabrication and engineering machinery, tools, parts and equipment to the mining and construction industry. They provide precision in their steadfast service with an outstanding range of selected products to meet the required expectations of their clients from decades of industry experience.

Having built a strong reputation from decades of providing exceptional services, they are now seeking to employ an additional Spare Parts Interpreter with experience in machinery, spare parts, equipment and supplies.

The Position…

The position involves maximising opportunities within the spare parts department by developing strong relationships with both internal team members and external customers. You will be required to manage the inventory and logistics ensuring that all stock for parts and machinery are maintained at a reasonable level and ordered to replenish as required. You will need to ensure that all sales, backorders, forward orders, stock transfers and general distribution are carried out, so that each job can eventuate with maximum efficiency and in accordance with the company’s specified time frames.

Part of the role also includes purchasing, invoicing, receipting of sales and ensuring credits are completed by utilising the company’s communication system and database to accurately record and update detailed information.

• Will have experience in working with machinery, spare parts, tools or supplies in mining, construction, sheet metal, sawing, fabrication or engineering.
  
• Be Professional, well-spoken and strong in liaising with customers.
