We work within the climate ecosystem to foster innovation by connecting startups with funding, investors, education, and accelerator programs. Our remote team of 50 members operates collaboratively to drive impactful, sustainable solutions for climate-related challenges.

About the Role

The Specialist – Education (Mahathi Project) will lead project management and program support in Vizag, driving research, stakeholder coordination, field operations, and documentation. This role plays a key role in developing innovative climate-education pilots, integrating AI-driven learning solutions, identifying best practices, and supporting the strategic growth of the initiative.

The position is based in Vizag, and the candidate must either be located in Visakhapatnam or be willing to relocate. Candidate will manage skilling programs in AI for Mahathi project in Vizag and will also support and manage other related activities across India, as required.
Given the nature of the Mahathi project, the role requires strong understanding of AI tools, data workflows, digital learning systems, and technology-enabled education models in addition to core programme management skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Undertake project management for Mahathi at CCF.

· Assist in conducting research required to support the initiative's objectives and program development.

· Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution.

· Prepare and maintain program documentation, reports, and other relevant records.

· Support the identification and analysis of best practices related to education programs in the climate sector.

· Contribute to the overall strategic planning and implementation of program.

· Undertake any other cross-functional work as required by the team to support organizational objectives.



Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 8-12 years of experience in any of the following fields:

v Data Science / Analytics / Computer Science / AI / Engineering

v Education Technology / Learning Sciences / Digital Learning

v Environmental Studies / Sustainability (preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has strong data/tech skills)5-8 years of experience in program management, educational program development, or research in the climate, sustainability, or social impact sector.

· Working with datasets, dashboards, surveys, or monitoring systems.

· Conducting research, documentation, and report writing.

· Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

· Comfortable coordinating with multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Ability to independently run a pilot site and represent CCF locally.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Experience in social sector projects, or youth programmes is a plus.

Skills Required:

· Project Management: Planning, organizing, and coordinating programs.

· Communication & Collaboration: Coordinating with teams and stakeholders; strong writing and reporting.

· Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate program records and reports.

· Sector Knowledge: Education programs, climate action, and sustainability.

· Technical Skills: MS Office, collaboration tools, basic data analysis.
