We’re seeking future team member for our Specialist, Execution Services, Markets Operations with role located in Singapore

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Serve as subject matter expert for the day-to-day operations of a FX Middle Office
  • Provide pre and post execution support to the trading, Sales, and internal stakeholders on Markets FX businesses.
  • Ensure that the key middle office controls are performed daily such as trade validation and life cycle maintenance.
  • Proper coordination with Local Sub-Custodian banks to liaise on FX activity.
  • Responsible for owning assigned client relationships, engaging with clients daily.
  • Ensure work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards.
  • Analyze and resolve exception, evaluate and escalate risk items to management and business partners.
  • Drive efficiencies in the daily environment – look to deploy AI, Digital Tools and automation initiatives on a consistent basis.
  • Constantly identify opportunities for workflow improvement and operational efficiency, with a goal to reduce manual touchpoints and ongoing capacity creation.
  • Provide support to business and technology managers. Strong ability to Identify, investigate, and resolve escalated and/or complex problems in transaction dispute and client query independently.
  • Ensure procedures are properly documented.
  • Responsible for publication and reporting of operations KRI and client KPIs for periodic service reviews.
  • Partner with the Change team to assist in the deployment of change initiatives.
  • Contributes to the achievement of related team’s objectives.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following

  • Bachelors degree, banking background preferred.
  • 2-4 years of banking experience preferred.
  • Possess good FX product knowledge including knowledge of the trade lifecycle is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in FX Operations, Middle Office and and/or Securities Settlements are strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and implementing change.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and foundational knowledge of AI is preferred
  • Good team player and flexible with cross training with other teams.
  • Some coverage of public holidays will be required.
