Job purpose

Help drive a performance management culture that is result-oriented, value driven and promotes innovation, learning and collaboration across the organization. Facilitate the achievement of corporate strategic goals by embedding best in class corporate performance management practices. This includes managing the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and corporate scorecards across the group, monitoring progress against business plan targets and providing the ADNOC Group CEO and executive management with the required analysis and insights for effective decision making.

Key accountabilities

Job specific accountabilities

Framework and scorecards management
Support establishment of ADNOC Group performance policy and ensure compliance across ADNOC Group.
Support development of standardized functional KPIs across all directorates and group companies in close collaboration with HSE, HC&A, F&I, B&CS, OE, A&A and LG&C.
Prepare yearly corporate performance guidelines detailing KPI objectives, definitions and scoring mechanism and communicate across directorates and group companies.
Support the development of directorates and group companies performance scorecards incorporating ADNOC Group strategic objectives.

Monitoring and reporting
Administer monthly process for KPI information gathering and consolidation across group companies and directorates for tracking and monitoring progress against targets.
Validate KPI information and ensure data quality and consistency in line with agreed targets and performance guideline.
Generate monthly performance scorecard reports for ADNOC Group, directorates and companies from corporate performance management system.

Analysis, review and recommendations
Analyze group, directorate and company performance on a monthly basis and identify performance trends and gaps.
Identify performance levers to improve performance and advise specific corrective actions.
Develop monthly reports and insights based upon KPI data to enable effective decision making by management.

Corporate performance management system
Maintain group wide corporate performance management IT system.
Ensure timely set up of approved scorecards.
Ensure data quality through monthly review of submissions.
Identify enhancements to system capability to align with requirements of the performance management process and user feedback.
Provide business requirements for updates, advanced analytical features and conduct user acceptance tests on a regular basis to ensure timely roll out.

Any other key accountabilities
Provide support to line manager in other key initiatives and projects related to group performance.

Coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.

Budgets
Provide input for preparation of the function, division, department or section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives.

Policies, systems, processes & procedures
Support implementation of approved function, division, department or section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with company and international standards.

Performance management
Contribute to the achievement of the approved performance objectives for the function, division, department or section in line with the company performance framework.

Innovation and continuous improvement
Identify new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices to improve working of the department or function.

Health, safety, environment (HSE) and sustainability
Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC code of practice.

Qualifications, experience, knowledge & skills

Minimum qualification
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance or equivalent.

Minimum experience & knowledge & skills
5 years of experience in corporate performance management, planning and strategy, preferably in oil and gas industry.
Knowledge of the corporate performance management framework in oil and gas industry.
Knowledge of industry best practice and trends in performance management.
Understanding of a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis, knowledge, and skills.
Analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
High level of communication, presentation and technical and business writing skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
