Specialist - SAP-SAP ABAP APO
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP APO Consultant to lead and drive the development, enhancement, and support of SAP APO applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in integrating APO with SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ABAP development and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP APO solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop, test, and deploy SAP APO modules, including Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, and Inventory Optimization.
- Integrate SAP APO with SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems, ensuring data consistency and efficient data exchange.
- Optimize APO processes and performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP APO applications, resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Document and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and knowledge base articles.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP APO technologies and trends, and propose innovative solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP APO.
- Proven expertise in developing and supporting SAP APO applications, with a strong understanding of APO modules.
- Experience in integrating SAP APO with SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, OOPs concepts, and SAP HANA.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and its integration capabilities.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
