Position Summary
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
  • Address speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication needs
  • Help patients improve function and overall quality of life

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques
  • Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately
  • Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program)
  • Valid state SLP license
  • CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred
  • Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills
  • CPR certification preferred
