You will own the sports business development channel end to end. Source and qualify sports partners, manage commercial terms and legal reviews, negotiate contracts, oversee active relationships, track partner performance, build repeatable outreach and partnership playbooks, coordinate integrations with product and operations, and represent Polymarket at sports industry events.
Responsibilities
- Source and qualify new sports partners across ISVs, IBs, and third-party app ecosystems
- Own the full deal cycle from first conversation to signed agreement
- Manage commercial terms, legal review, and internal stakeholder alignment
- Negotiate partnership contracts
- Manage active sports channel relationships after closing
- Handle governance, performance reporting, and ongoing partner health
- Build outreach frameworks and partnership playbooks
- Work with product and operations to support partner integration and performance
- Represent Polymarket at relevant sports industry events
Requirements
- Proven business development or partnerships experience in the sports industry
- Experience working with leagues, teams, sports data providers, or media partners
- Experience independently managing the full deal cycle from sourcing through close
- An existing network in the sports technology or data ecosystem
- Experience closing deals with ISVs, IBs, or similar third-party distribution partners
- Experience with channel governance and reporting
- Understanding of deal economics
- Ability to draft term sheets
- Based in or willing to work from the NYC office
- Experience building a business development function or partnership playbook
