Oversee daily operations, safety, and member services at a private club’s sports and recreation facilities, including events, maintenance coordination, and emergency readiness.
Job Description
- Support the daily operations, cleanliness, safety and upkeep of the Club's sports and recreation facilities, equipment and surrounding areas.
- Monitor facility usage, conduct membership verification checks and ensure compliance with Club rules, policies and safety requirements.
- Assist in the planning and execution of sports tournaments, swimming competitions, recreational activities and Club events.
- Attend to members' enquiries and provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall member experience.
- Coordinate with internal departments, contractors and vendors on maintenance, repair and upgrading works.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and First Aid/AED checks, and support emergency preparedness and workplace safety initiatives.
- Maintain inventory records, equipment, assets, operational documentation and key control.
Requirements
- GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma in Sports Management, Sports Science or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in personal training, fitness instruction, sports coaching, First Aid, CPR or AED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sports, recreation, fitness or hospitality operations
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Able to perform shift duties, including weekends and Public Holidays.
