API / Backend Engineer – Java, Python & GenAI
Location's: Phoenix, AZ & Charlotte, NC. On-site.
Job Description:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and Microservices.
- Experience designing and developing API/backend services using microservice-based architecture.
- Strong programming experience in Python, with exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI applications.
- Experience with LLMs, GenAI, TensorFlow and integrating AI capabilities into backend/API solutions.
- Experience with Google Vertex AI / Vertex and cloud-based AI services.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven and distributed applications.
- Good knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Maven, Git, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of scalable, secure and high-performance API/backend architecture.
- Experience developing and integrating GenAI/LLM-based solutions with enterprise backend applications.
- Good understanding of cloud environments and modern DevOps practices.
