Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for a driven and passionate Systems Engineer - Channel which is a technical field pre-sales / enablement position that serves as the lead advocate for our Partner Presales Systems Engineers & Solution Architects. You will be responsible for driving channel technical enablement initiatives and creating content to ensure our partners are able to perform all the functions that a Nutanix Systems Engineer does, including product demonstrations and executing Proofs of Concept (POC). You will be tasked with creating and delivering compelling sales and technical training, building trust as a resource both internally and externally, all while identifying and driving initiatives to strengthen our partners’ offerings and ensure continual growth.

The mission of the Channel SE team is to enhance the delivery of Nutanix's cutting-edge technologies in the channel partner landscape, ensuring that partners receive the support and resources needed to succeed in a competitive market.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Systems Engineering, Channels - Japan, who has 20 years of experience with IT infrastructure and Security. Your manager is a seasoned and experienced leader who promotes team development and drives high performance.
**Your Role**
- Drive technical enablement initiatives for partners, ensuring they can effectively demonstrate and implement Nutanix solutions.
- Collaborate with partners to identify customer business needs and facilitate tailored Nutanix solutions.
- Create and deliver engaging training programs and technical presentations for channel partners and internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with channel partners to enhance collaboration and drive sales.
- Participate in marketing initiatives and technical events to promote Nutanix solutions and foster partner engagement.
- Support partners in drafting proposals and preparing for presentations, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Continuously learn about emerging technologies and trends to enhance partner offerings and support growth.
- Achieve key performance metrics related to partner satisfaction, training completion rates, and sales targets within the first year.
**What You Will Bring**
- More than 5 years of experience in a customer or partner-facing technical role, with 3 years as a Presales Engineer.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with channel partners and a strong understanding of channel-centric market strategies.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with partners and internal teams.
- Proven ability to develop engaging training materials and conduct effective seminars within partner organizations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach to technical challenges.
- Expertise in data center and cloud technologies, including storage, virtualization, and automation frameworks.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to support partnerships and events across the region.
**Work Arrangement**
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
