About the Project
Build a modern Lakehouse for a Fortune 100 Japanese multinational (global #1 in HVAC, 100+ years, 170+ countries). You’ll architect and ship scalable data platforms on Azure + Databricks, enabling analytics, BI, and ML across a complex enterprise.
What You’ll Do
- Architect Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and implement ETL/ELT with ADF + Databricks.
- Build Spark pipelines (batch & streaming); integrate Kafka/Event Hubs where needed.
- Define schemas, partitioning, indexing; optimize performance and cloud costs.
- Lead best practices and collaborate with analysts, ML, and software teams.
Must-Haves
- 8+ years in Data Engineering/Architecture.
- Python & SQL (advanced); Scala proficiency strongly preferred.
- Data modeling, API-based integrations, governance, and performance tuning.
- English B2+/C1 for global collaboration.
- Onsite availability (Mon–Fri) in Monterrey.
