Role Purpose
The Senior Engineer is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end software engineering outcomes, including cloudinfrastructure, application development, CI/CD, and operational support,within a DevOps and product‑centric delivery model. The role shifts awayfrom task‑based development toward full ownership of solutions in a moderncloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design,build, deploy, and support cloud‑native applications across AWS andAzure.
- Developand manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Buildand maintain application services using microservices and API‑firstarchitecture.
- Participatein DevOps culture: engineers who build the solution also support it in production.
Software Development
- Developbackend services using modern .NET.
- Buildfrontend components using ReactJS.
- Implementcloud‑native services using AWS Lambda and/or Azure Functions.
- Applyagreed design patterns, security standards, and architecturalprinciples.
- Write,review, and maintain clean, secure, and scalable code.
CI/CD & Release
- Useand operate GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply advanced Git workflows.
- Supportautomated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Ensuresolutions are deployable across multi‑cloud environments.
Testing & Quality
- Implement unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
- Usetesting frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, Jest, Cypress.
- Integratetesting into CI/CD pipelines.
Operations & Support
- Monitorapplications and infrastructure logs.
- Supportincident resolution and minor security vulnerabilities.
- Followcost, performance, and operational guidelines.
- Understandservice management tooling (e.g. ServiceNow).
Required Skills & Experience
- Strongexperience in cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
- Provencapability in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strongfrontend skills in ReactJS.
- Hands‑onexperience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
- Understandingof API‑first development, microservices, and security basics.
- Abilityto work independently with minimal reliance on client FTEs.
- Mustbe able to deliver end‑to‑end solutions without dependency on clientengineers.
- Mustdemonstrate practical cloud engineering capability, not just conceptualknowledge.
- Actsas a technical contributor, not a people manager.
