Summary
Builds and supports market data platforms in a Global Markets environment, delivering end-to-end solutions across UI, APIs, and data layers for market data analytics, distribution, and usage workflows, plus resolving production issues with RCA. Core stack: Python, gRPC, REST, and large-scale NoSQL stores (MongoDB/HBase).
We are looking for aSenior Full Stack Engineerto build and supportmarket data platformswithin a Global Markets environment. This role focuses on developingend-to-end solutions across UI,APIsanddata layers, supporting criticalmarket data analytics,distributionandusage workflows.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience infull-stack development, exposure tomarket datasystemsandthe ability tooperateinhigh-performance, production-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhancemarket data platformssupporting analytics, distributionandconsumption use cases
- DevelopAPIs and servicesusing modern frameworks (includinggRPC) for efficient data access
- Work withlarge-scale data stores(e.g., MongoDB, HBase) to manage structured and semi-structured market data
- Troubleshoot and resolveproduction issues, performing root cause analysis (RCA) and driving fixes end-to-end
- Translateambiguous business requirementsinto practical, scalable technical solutions
- Collaborate withtrading,analyticsanddata teamsto deliver robust and aligned solutions
Must-Have Skills
- ProficiencyinPython or polyglot backend development
- Experience building and consumingAPIs (REST /gRPC)
- Hands-on experience withNoSQL databasessuch as MongoDB, HBase, or similar
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills inproduction environments
- Proven ability toown issues end-to-end, including RCA and resolution
- Experience working withlarge datasets and data-intensive applications
Domain Experience (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Market data concepts and usage
- Trade lifecycle and data flows
- Risk and pricing dependencies on market data
- Experience working withenterprise trading and market data platforms
- Understanding ofregulatory and compliance considerationsin banking environments
Technical & Data Stack (Preferred)
- Experience with:
- MongoDB, HBase, or similar distributed data stores
- gRPC-based servicesfor high-performance communication
- Familiarity with:
- Integration withanalytics and downstream systems
- Exposure topolyglot architecturesand distributed systems
