Sr. Functional Business Analyst (core banking implementation)
Summary
Senior functional business analyst on core banking implementation projects: leads discovery workshops with client teams, documents banking products, processes and configuration, prepares UAT scenarios, and coordinates with implementation leads, PMs and technical consultants. Requires 6+ years in banking/fintech functional analysis.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support functional discovery workshops with customer teams.
Analyse banking products, operational processes, and workflows.
Own preparation and maintenance of functional documentation (process flows, configuration notes, etc).
Lead preparation of UAT scenarios and test cases from a functional perspective.
Work closely with Implementation Leads, Project Managers, and Technical Consultants.
Contribute to standard functional templates, best practices, and delivery documentation.
Requirements:
At least 6 years in functional analysis, banking operations, fintech delivery, or core banking implementation roles.
Strong understanding of banking products and processes (e.g. lending, deposits, accounting, customer lifecycle).
Experience working on system implementation or transformation projects.
Exposure to core banking platforms or financial system.
