What you'll do
- Identify and evaluate high-value content sources including social media, merchants, and websites.
- Develop scalable systems for content acquisition and attribute extraction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance content quality and search relevance.
- Train, fine-tune, and distill language models for production-scale deployment.
- Architect systems for large-scale data management and automated model iteration.
- Utilize agentic coding tools to improve development speed and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in machine learning applied to ranking, search, NLP, recommender systems, reinforcement learning, or graph representation learning.
- Hands-on production experience in training, evaluating, and deploying language models.
- Ability to drive ambiguous projects forward with autonomy and creative problem-solving.
- Experience or strong interest in large-scale content acquisition, web scraping, and crawling.
Nice to have
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Publications in top-tier machine learning conferences.
- Experience with AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Copilot, or Codex for refactoring, debugging, and testing.
- Familiarity with LLM-powered tools for engineering workflows, data exploration, and experiment analysis.
