Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a strategic, hands-on Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy - Marketing, Openings & Conversions to support the Americas Essentials portfolio across new hotel openings and conversions. In this role, you will translate each hotel's commercial strategy into marketing recommendations, approved investments, and launch plans that build business on the books and accelerate performance from the first available booking date through opening and transition. You will collaborate closely with Performance Leads, Sales and Revenue strategists, Commercial Activation Services, Distribution, Field Marketing, hotel leaders, and owners/operators to connect market insight, positioning, media, loyalty, content, and activation into one cohesive Commercial Ramp Strategy Plan. The Role

The Senior Manager owns the day-to-day Marketing commercial strategy lifecycle for an assigned portfolio of Essentials hotels, from planning and budgeting through activation, performance monitoring, and transition to permanent support. Key responsibilities include\:

•Own the Marketing strategy and related outcomes for an assigned portfolio of Essentials openings and conversions through the defined transition point.

•Build and maintain the Marketing components of each Commercial Ramp Strategy Plan, connecting market insights, competitive context, priority segments, Brand strategy, commercial goals, and the hotel experience into a clear go-to-market approach.

•Define unique selling points, priority audiences, and segment-specific messaging; engage agency support when full positioning development is required.

•Develop full-funnel Marketing and digital media plans from pre-opening through the first year of operations, with clear objectives, audiences, channel mix, timing, budget phasing, need-period support, and measures of success.

•Develop and secure approval for hotel Marketing budgets and funding plans, including applicable Hyatt Top-Up, DAP, corporate, regional, and Brand-funded opportunities.

•Translate approved strategies and budgets into clear briefs, launch plans, media investments, assets, tracking, and activation milestones across Hyatt.com, World of Hyatt, CRM, search, metasearch, social, personalization, offers, and selected third-party channels.

•Partner with the Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy - Sales & Revenue and the Essentials Performance Lead to align Marketing actions with segmentation targets, pricing, Sales priorities, booking pace, on-the-books performance, need periods, and conversion goals.

•Lead hotel and owner/operator Marketing working sessions, provide recommendations on priorities and investment choices, and surface readiness, funding, approval, or performance risks early.

•Establish hotel-level Marketing and digital KPIs; maintain weekly Risk to Ramp reporting and a monthly portfolio scorecard showing activation status, results, risks, opportunities, and required interventions.

•Use performance insights to optimize audiences, channel mix, investment, creative, messaging, offers, and timing as hotel needs and market conditions evolve.

•Manage a structured transition to Field Marketing, ensuring strategy, budgets, campaigns, assets, vendors, results, risks, learnings, and next actions are clearly documented and transferred.

•Travel as required based on hotel openings, performance needs, owner/operator engagement, and portfolio priorities.
