Sr. Product Marketing Manager
AEM (Advanced Environmental Monitoring) is the global leader in innovative mission critical weather, wildfire and water monitoring and intelligence solutions. We aim to be the world’s essential source for environmental insights – enabling decisive action and positive outcomes for our customers and their constituents. Our family of innovators offers world-class hydrometeorological technologies and services, including sensors, dataloggers, telemetry, and advanced analytics and software. Our technology and services empower the communities and organizations to survive – and thrive – in the face of escalating environmental risks.
AEM is looking for a Senior Manager of Product Marketing to own positioning, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement across a global suite of environmental monitoring products and solutions. You will set the direction on messaging and lead production of deliverables that bring that strategy to life.
You will be accountable for how AEM's products are positioned in the market, how the sales team communicates our value, and how we differentiate against competitors. You will work closely with Product, Sales, and the broader marketing team, and your output will be visible to senior leadership from day one.
We are looking for someone who applies AI systematically to compress research timelines, sharpen competitive synthesis, and accelerate content development. We are not looking for someone doing the basics.
This role reports to the VP of Marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
Market Positioning
- Develop and maintain positioning and messaging frameworks across AEM's product portfolio, translating technical capabilities into buyer-relevant value propositions
- Ensure positioning holds up in competitive sales cycles and reflects how buyers actually make decisions
Competitive Intelligence
- Own competitive intelligence as an ongoing discipline, not a one-time project
- Monitor competitor positioning, product developments, and go-to-market moves across the environmental monitoring industry
- Synthesize findings into usable briefs and enable sales with current, credible differentiation
Sales Enablement
- Build and maintain the sales enablement library: battle cards, one-pagers, solution briefs, pitch narratives, and objection-handling guides
- Ensure field teams have current, on-message materials that reflect actual product positioning and competitive reality
- Work closely with sales leadership to understand where the gaps are and close them
Product Launch
- Plan and execute product and feature launches end to end, from internal readiness through external announcement
- Coordinate across Product, Sales and Marketing to land launches with impact
- Train and prepare sales and support teams ahead of new product introductions
Thought Leadership
- Contribute to AEM's thought leadership presence through bylines, speaking abstracts, white papers, and campaign messaging
- Help define the narrative that differentiates AEM in a competitive market
Marketing Support
- Provide messaging and copy support across web, campaigns, press releases, and partner communications
- Serve as a positioning and content resource for the broader marketing team
