Job Summary

The Sr. Product Owner - Commercial Applications is a strategic partner and delivery leader responsible for translating complex business needs into scalable, high-impact IT solutions. This role drives product vision and roadmap execution, collaborating across business units, IT teams, and senior leadership to deliver value-driven outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong domain knowledge, a product mindset, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.


Job Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for one or more strategic IT products, refining the product backlog, prioritizing features, and ensuring the delivery of value in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle - from discovery and requirements gathering to release planning and post-launch support.
  • Partner with and collaborate with business leaders to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for technology-driven process improvement.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, including workshops, interviews, roadmap reviews, and use case development, translating business needs into actionable user stories and backlog items.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors, maintaining clear communication and shared understanding of priorities.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, effort, and risk, ensuring sprint delivery is tightly aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Define and track success metrics to measure adoption, performance, and impact of delivered functionality.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), validating that solutions meet stakeholder needs and are ready for deployment.
  • Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement for IT applications and systems, including troubleshooting and escalation management.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting best practices in Agile delivery, stakeholder engagement, and solution design.
