Sr Python Developer

About the role

World Wide Technology is looking for a Python Developer to join our Strategic Resourcing practice. This is a contract role supporting one of WWT's enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications
• Work with open-source frameworks like pytorch and langchain
• Implement test driven development methodology
• Use CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jenkins, and Team City
• Work with databases including RDBMS, NoSQL, or graph databases

About you

• Familiar with Python programming language
• Experience of using open-source frameworks like pytorch, langchain etc
• Familiar with test driven development methodology
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GIT, Jenkins, Team City
• Experience of using database, like RDBMS or NoSQL or graph database
• Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies, e.g. finetune, distillation, retrieval-augmented-generation, MCP, A2A (desired)
• Good knowledge of core AI/ML concepts (desired)
• Experience of data engineering (desired)
• Experience of using scripting language e.g. Shell, Regular expression (desired)
• Experience with Agile methodology, e.g. spring planning, daily Scrum, retrospective etc (desired)
