Sr. Software Engineer and Team Lead (Java, React) | Vilnius
Summary
Lead a team building a greenfield financial data reporting product on a microservice architecture, splitting time ~75% hands-on development and ~25% people leadership and mentoring. Core stack: Java/Spring Boot and PostgreSQL on the backend, with React, Redux/Saga, Node.js and TypeScript on the frontend.
As a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead, you will join a skilled team of engineers building a unique product for financial data reporting. This is a greenfield project with a mixed tech stack and microservice architecture. You will play a role in development using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and working with Node .js, React, Redux, and Saga. As well as leading and growing team members.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and people management – growing and mentoring the team (25%).
- Development (75%).
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in software development.
- 2+ years of experience in Tech/team lead role.
- Essential skills: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Relational Databases, React, Redux, Redux Saga, Node.js, git, advanced HTML and JavaScript knowledge, DevOps and cloud knowledge, application monitoring, leadership, team leading, tech leading, client interaction.
- Nice-to-have skills: Angular, NoSQL DBs.
