Rate of Pay: $232,000 to $284,000 per Year

What you’ll do
- Design and implement new features in our search infrastructure solutions at Uber.
- Join on call rotation, driving continuous improvements on system availability, scalability, performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other infrastructure teams, production engineer team and product manager to drive adoption and standardize processes, and to design and implement high impact, cross-product features.
- Mentor engineers and support peer growth, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
- May telecommute.
Basic Qualifications
- Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, and 2 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- Position requires:
- Go, Python, and Java;
- GIT or SVN ;
- Data structures and algorithms development and functionality;
- Designing technology stacks;
- Debugging and monitoring for production services;
- Distributed systems;
- Software Development Lifecycle;
- ElasticSearch or OpenSearch.
