Position Summary
Sr. Sports Recruiting Sales Specialist (Recruiting Specialists) guide student-athletes and their families through their athletic development and recruiting journey. Using a consultative sales approach, they help families evaluate their goals, understand available opportunities, and identify the right solutions within the NCSA ecosystem and IMG Academy+.
Specialists are provided qualified appointments and focus on evaluating goals, uncovering needs, and recommending programs that support each athlete's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct virtual consultations with student-athletes and families during evening and weekend hours (Mon–Thurs 5pm–11pm, Sat 9am–5pm, Sun 12pm–9pm)
Assess athlete goals, development stage, recruiting aspirations, and family priorities
Educate families on athlete development, recruiting timelines, and available pathways
Present personalized solutions within the NCSA ecosystem and IMG Academy+
Maintain accurate records and manage opportunities within CRM systems
Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development
Achieve monthly enrollment and revenue goals while delivering an exceptional family experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work evenings and weekends
5+ years of experience in sales, coaching, recruiting, athletic development, or a related field
Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills
Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals
Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills
Knowledge of athlete development and the college recruiting process
Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business technologies
Passion for helping student-athletes achieve their goals
Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Skills

Former collegiate athlete and/or coaching experience
Experience advising student-athletes and families
Bilingual
Knowledge of multiple athletic and academic advancement pathways

Compensation
Specialists receive qualified leads and pre-scheduled meetings. Compensation includes low base salary, uncapped commissions, and performance-based bonuses.
First-year Specialists performing at expected levels earn approximately $65,000 annually (this total = base + commissions + bonuses). Earnings can increase 30–50% annually during the first three years, with top performers earning $200,000+ per year.
