Sr. Supervisor, Technology/Digital Capability & Product Owner

Primary Purpose
Coordinates teams to align priorities and resolve dependencies across product components. Facilitates operational planning and ensures timely delivery of features that support strategic objectives and customer satisfaction. Leads cross-functional teams, acts as the primary liaison between business and technical stakeholders, ensures alignment with organizational goals, and drives continuous improvement of the GIS portal to deliver measurable business value.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive GIS portal strategy and operations, including release management, deployment coordination, performance optimization, scalability, system reliability, and KPI tracking to measure adoption and business value.
• Serve as GIS subject matter expert (SME), leading user adoption through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement while guiding both business and technical teams.
• Ensure governance, integration, and compliance, including data integrity and quality, cybersecurity alignment, access controls, and integration with enterprise systems (e.g., asset and work management platforms).
• Oversees teams working on related product components or capabilities.
• Develops operational plans to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
• Facilitates cross-team collaboration to resolve dependencies and align priorities.
• Monitors progress against sprint and release goals, escalating issues as needed.
• Guides backlog refinement and roadmap execution across teams.
• Provides input on resource planning and budget management for assigned projects.
• Mentors supervisors and team leads to strengthen leadership capabilities.
• Communicates status and risks to managers and senior stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
