Sr. Supply Chain Manager, GEMS, NA Startup

NewBe an early applicant
Are you a strategic, relationship-driven leader who wants to shape how Amazon partners with its most critical vendors across a world-class fulfillment network? Do you thrive at the intersection of supply chain strategy, vendor performance management, and workforce development? Does the challenge of building portfolio-wide vendor accountability frameworks that drive measurable improvement across hundreds of projects appeal to you? If you are looking for a high-impact role where you will influence sourcing decisions, develop contingent workforce pathways, and drive systemic improvements across a portfolio of 450+ projects valued at $5B+.

Amazon Global Engineering Services (GES) is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented Sr. Supply Chain Manager to serve as the Vendor Process Lead within our NA Startup Support organization. This role operates horizontally across the full vendor portfolio, rather than owning specific vendor relationships vertically, you will own the strategy, standards, and performance frameworks that make the entire vendor ecosystem stronger every year.

You will be responsible for developing scorecards and performance frameworks, influencing Amazon's vendor sourcing strategy in partnership with Global Procurement Operations, building structured development pathways for contingent workers, and maintaining the analytical tools and dashboards that give leadership visibility into vendor portfolio health. This role requires someone who can see patterns across the portfolio that no single project team can see, and act on them before they repeat.

This role requires up to 25% regional travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Relocation assistance may be provided.

A day in the life

Global Engineering Services (GES) NA Startup Support operates at the intersection of strategic vendor management and engineering execution across North America. A day in the life may involve reviewing vendor scorecard data to identify systemic performance patterns, conducting a strategic planning session with your IAS/TVM counterpart on sourcing alignment, facilitating a vendor executive business review, or presenting portfolio risk assessments to GES leadership. You will engage with vendor executives, coordinate with GPO on sourcing decisions, align with execution teams on field performance, and drive cross-portfolio intelligence that no single project team can see. About the team
