Summary
Senior system engineer at Supermicro in New Taipei City who tests and validates server hardware (fanless/compact box, edge, and PCIe GPU servers), debugs and retests failed units, sets up Windows Server/Linux environments, debugs BIOS/BMC, and leads root-cause analysis while mentoring system engineers.
1. Test and validate the latest system products across Fanless systems Compact box servers, Edge servers, and PCIe GPU servers.
2. Debug, diagnose, troubleshoot, and retest failed units. Approach issues with clear reproduce steps, logs, and cross-team resolution.
3. Support LAB/RD team to do functionality, compatibility, stress, reliability, and basic performance tests.
4. Perform Windows Server and Linux installation and environment setup to meet the test requirements.
5. Support proof-of-concept (PoC) setup and issue isolation as required by the project.
6. Work with PMs, production PE, R&D, and other LAB team on test needs, schedule, and issue closure.
7. Perform BIOS/BMC operation and debug (settings, versions, logs, remote management).
8. Provide internal and customer project technical support; on-site support is based on project need.
9. Review test reports, lead root-cause analysis and corrective recommendations, serve as the system technical owner for assigned platforms or projects, and guide System Engineers.
