Senior Talent Partner

Location: Gdańsk, Poland (onsite)
Company: Jeppesen ForeFlight
Team: Talent Acquisition / People
Employment type: Full-time

About Jeppesen ForeFlight

Jeppesen ForeFlight builds software that pilots and flight operations teams around the world rely on to plan, fly, and manage flights safely and efficiently. Our teams combine deep aviation expertise with modern software engineering, and our Gdańsk office is a key part of that work. We’re growing, and we need a recruiter who can find the people who aren’t looking for us yet.

The Role

As a Senior Talent Partner, you will own full-cycle recruiting for our Gdańsk site, with a focus on engaging hard-to-find passive candidates. You’re a builder and a networker, someone who is known in the Tri-City tech community and can open doors that job postings can’t. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and leadership to hire specialized technical talent and to build the pipelines and local reputation that will help us scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Own sourcing for hard-to-fill roles: Identify, research, and win over passive candidates in specialized areas such as senior engineering, data, and niche technical skill sets, using direct outreach, referrals, and your own network
  • Build a talent network: Cultivate long-term relationships with talent in the Pomeranian region and the broader Polish and European markets, including people who aren’t ready to move today
  • Be visible in the community: Represent ForeFlight at meetups, tech conferences, university events, and local communities, and help us build a presence in the Gdańsk and Tri-City tech scene
  • Partner with hiring managers: Translate business goals into hiring plans, role definitions, and sourcing strategies, and advise managers on market realities, compensation, and competitor activity
  • Run full-cycle recruitment: Manage intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer negotiation, and close with a high-touch candidate experience
  • Build scrappy, scalable process: Bring a startup mindset to improving how we hire, trying new channels, iterating quickly, and building structure where it’s needed
  • Use data to improve: Track pipeline health, outreach response rates, time-to-fill, and offer acceptance, and use the results to refine your approach
  • Stay compliant: Maintain accurate ATS records and follow Polish labor law, GDPR, and company policies
  • Collaborate globally: Work with HR, Compensation, Legal, and Talent Acquisition colleagues across offices
  • Mentor others: Coach interviewers and support junior recruiters as the team grows

What You’ll Bring

Required

  • [5+] years of recruiting experience, including meaningful experience in a startup or high-growth company where you built hiring processes, wore multiple hats, and moved quickly
  • A proven track record of sourcing and closing hard-to-find passive candidates, especially in technical roles, with examples you can share
  • A strong, active professional network in the Polish tech community, including relationships with engineers, communities, and meetup organizers, and a record of generating hires through them
  • Advanced sourcing skills across LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, communities, referrals, and other non-traditional channels
  • Experience as a trusted partner to hiring managers and senior leaders
  • Strong understanding of the Polish labor market, employment practices, and offer structures
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort with data and using metrics to guide decisions
  • Fluent English and Polish (written and spoken)
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system (e.g., [Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, etc.])
  • Ability to work onsite in our Gdańsk office [x days per week]

Nice to have

  • Experience in aviation, aerospace, or other regulated or safety-critical industries
  • Experience recruiting in a multinational or matrixed organization
  • A track record of speaking at, organizing, or sponsoring community events
  • Employer branding or campus recruiting experience in Poland
  • Interest in aviation or flying

Why Join Us

  • Meaningful work that supports aviation safety and a product pilots genuinely love
  • Real ownership: shape how we hire and how ForeFlight is seen in the Gdańsk tech community
  • A collaborative, international team with colleagues across multiple offices
  • Competitive compensation: [salary range in PLN gross, per month]
  • [Benefits: private medical care, multisport card, pension plan/PPK, life insurance, learning budget, etc.]
  • Opportunities to grow your career as the Gdańsk office expands
