SSAP BTP CAP Java Developer

NTT DATA Europe & Latam is seeking an experienced SAP BTP CAP Java Developer to support an international SAP S/4HANA transformation and rollout program. You will design and build cloud-based extensions on SAP BTP using CAP Java, CDS models, OData and REST APIs, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of hands-on SAP BTP development, strong Java skills, and experience integrating BTP with S/4HANA.

Design and develop SAP BTP apps and extensions using CAP Java. Build cloud-native services based on the CAP model. Develop APIs to integrate BTP with SAP S/4HANA and surrounding systems. Implement business logic and backend services in Java. Work with CDS models, OData services and REST APIs. Contribute to side-by-side extension scenarios for SAP S/4HANA. Ensure apps follow SAP BTP and clean-core principles. Support integration with S/4HANA Service/Order Management and related apps. Collaborate with functional consultants, integration developers and solution architects. Participate in requirements analysis, solution design and Explore workshops. Perform unit and integration testing and assist deployment, migration and go-live. 4–7 years of hands-on SAP BTP development experience. Practical experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP). Strong development experience with Java. Good knowledge of CDS, OData, REST APIs, SAP BTP services, and cloud-native app development. Experience integrating BTP apps with SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. Understanding of authentication, authorization and security in SAP BTP. Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices. Solid enterprise integration concepts. Professional proficiency in English or German.
