SSE - Backend

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Backend with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices to build scalable, distributed backend systems. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms, and hands-on experience with system design, high-level design (HLD), and low-level design (LLD) while developing enterprise-grade applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures for high-performance applications.
• Participate in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) discussions.
• Develop robust, secure, and maintainable backend services following engineering best practices.
• Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure continuous improvements in system performance.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience building microservices-based applications.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms (DSA).
• Experience with High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Solid knowledge of system design principles and distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Good to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
