Staff Civil/Environmental Engineer - Environmental Services (Minneapolis)

The Staff Civil/Environmental Engineer will support project teams to create world class designs for a wide variety of civil and environmental engineering projects which may include solid waste and resource recovery facilities, municipal, commercial and industrial facilities, stormwater management structures, utility facilities, water/wastewater collection systems and treatment facilities, and other various civil site and stormwater design projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead tasks/projects, perform assistant project management duties, and interact with clients. Duties of the Staff Civil/Environmental Engineer may include\:

• Performing design of facilities from the conceptual phase through design completion and construction.
• Working with project teams throughout the design and construction process, adapting plans, designs, production drawings and specifications according to budget constraints, regulatory requirements, or client needs.
• Researching and compiling of project-related data as required by the project managers.
• Preparing reports, studies, and cost estimates to help clients evaluate options and provide solutions.
• Support and lead civil and environmental permitting efforts.
• Assistant project management duties such as developing and executing project scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client expectations.
• Provide construction phase support services and preparation of construction quality assurance (CQA) reports.
• Training / mentoring of staff.
• Developing new and maintaining existing client and regulatory relationships.
• Other duties, as assigned.
