Staff Data Analyst
Summary
The Staff Data Analyst will design measurement plans, conduct causal inference analysis, and partner with merchandising leaders to optimize pricing, inventory, and promotional strategies.
- Conduct rigorous analysis and develop proof of concept analyses
- Define and document experimentation and causal inference policies and standards
- Define needed data and capabilities and coordinate with Data Engineering and BI
- Design measurement plans for ambiguous commercial questions
- Guide hypothesis design and comparison group selection
- Identify size and prioritize revenue margin inventory and customer opportunities
- Partner with merchandising leaders on pricing assortment allocation promotions inventory and vendors
- Perform causal measurement with seasonality selection bias halo and cannibalization considerations
- Translate findings into recommendations and decision focused narratives
