As one of the groups Nuclear Facility Safety Engineers, support is provided to facilities and projects to review current and new work packages and develop or update the safety basis documentation along with all supporting calculations and reports. Must be able to communicate with project personnel to understand the project needs and translate both into the safety-based documents and work packages. Job-Related Qualifications Required: | |||
Education: BS in an appropriate engineering discipline from a four-year accredited college or university Experience: 7+ years of experience required. Ability to obtain a Q clearance. Ability to become qualified in the following areas: Unreviewed Safety Question Determination Preparer/Reviewer; Unreviewed Change Determination Preparer/Reviewer; Nuclear Facility Safety Engineer within one year of hiring. | |||
