About the Role
DevOps Manager
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Manager to lead DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Cloud Operations teams. The candidate will drive DevOps strategy, cloud infrastructure modernization, CI/CD automation, platform reliability, security, and operational excellence. This role combines strong technical depth, people leadership, and business alignment to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available platforms supporting enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.
What You Will Do
Leadership & People Management
- Build, lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps team.
- Define team objectives, KPIs, development plans, and succession plans.
- Conduct coaching, performance discussions, hiring, onboarding, and capability development.
- Drive a culture of automation, innovation, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Security, QA, Product, and Program Management teams.
DevOps Strategy & Transformation
- Define and execute the DevOps and Platform Engineering roadmap.
- Lead cloud-native modernization initiatives and infrastructure transformation programs.
- Establish DevOps best practices, standards, governance, and operating models.
- Promote Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery practices.
CI/CD & Automation
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-scale applications.
- Automate build, test, security scanning, deployment, and release processes.
- Improve developer productivity through self-service platforms, reusable templates, and automation.
- Standardize deployment methodologies across products, services, and environments.
Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Drive architecture decisions for scalability, resilience, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Manage Kubernetes/OpenShift/EKS/AKS platforms and containerized workloads.
- Lead infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and related tooling.
Reliability & Operations
- Establish SRE practices, observability standards, and operational excellence frameworks.
- Define SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability metrics.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, post-mortem reviews, and preventive actions.
- Ensure platform availability, performance, recoverability, and operational readiness.
Security & Compliance
- Implement DevSecOps practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Partner with Security teams to enforce compliance, vulnerability management, IAM, secrets management, and cloud governance.
- Ensure infrastructure and deployment pipelines meet enterprise security, audit, and compliance standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate platform strategy, delivery progress, risks, and metrics to leadership and business stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships, tool evaluations, and technology partnerships.
- Participate in budget planning, capacity forecasting, license planning, and cloud cost optimization reviews.

What makes you eligible
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering, DevOps, SRE, or platform teams.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale cloud platforms, CI/CD ecosystems, and production operations.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, release governance, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- AWS, Azure, and/or GCP; cloud networking, IAM, resiliency, DR, cost optimization
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS Solutions Architect Professional.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
- ITIL Foundation, SAFe, Agile, or Scrum certifications.
- Experience leading globally distributed teams and working with enterprise-scale product organizations.
