Staff Nurse (Endoscopy) #HJN

Duties:

• Assist doctors during endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy and other related examinations.

• Prepare and check endoscopy equipment, instruments and procedure rooms to ensure readiness and safety.

• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure nursing care, including patient assessment, preparation, monitoring and recovery.

• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition before, during and after procedures.

• Administer medications and assist with sedation monitoring in accordance with clinical protocols and medical instructions.

• Maintain strict infection control standards, including the cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of endoscopic instruments.

• Ensure accurate documentation of nursing care, procedures, medications and patient observations.

Job Requirements

• Valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration and BCLS.

• Previous experience in endoscopy, gastroenterology or a related clinical setting will be an advantage.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends or public holidays, if required.
