Staff Product Designer

GlossGenius is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead and own design in our Core product area, focused on empowering beauty and wellness businesses to operate and grow with seamless, reliable tools. You will drive the strategy and execution of key product experiences with Product and Engineering partners, from scheduling and client/team management to payment processing. As AI reshapes product experiences, you will define how intelligent features are integrated thoughtfully and natively into the GlossGenius platform.

Responsibilities will include:

• Own the entire design process, from strategy to execution, for your product area
• Design user experiences across Core product features within the GlossGenius app
• Lead the end-to-end process for solving UX/UI design problems: ideate, conceptualize, test, and refine
• Construct user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts
• Identify and design AI-powered product experiences that reduce friction for small business owners
• Conduct user interviews to understand customer needs and inform product design strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, customer success managers, and marketers to design intuitive and engaging user experiences
• Deliver products recognized as best in the industry by understanding GlossGenius’s strategic and competitive position
• Proactively think of new ways users can interact with GlossGenius

You’re a great fit if you:

• Have 7+ years of experience in Product Design/UX/UI or a related role; experience with booking platforms, scheduling tools, team management, or financial/payment products is a strong plus
• Demonstrate experience with sketching, wireframes, visual design, and prototyping for product experiences
• Are proficient with advanced prototyping tools (e.g. Principle, Framer, Sketch, Figma, InVision)
• Have proven experience leveraging AI tools to shape design strategy and deliver impactful AI-driven experiences
• Are passionate about empowering small business owners and possess a high level of empathy for customers
• Thrive in ambiguous, high-growth, fast-paced, product-driven environments

Total Compensation

The starting base salary for this role is $215,000-$258,000 plus target equity and benefits. The base salary offered depends on skills, experience, and education, and may be modified in the future.

This role operates in a hybrid environment, with in-office attendance 3-4 days per week.
