Staff Product Manager — Agentic Direction Setting
Join our mission
Intuit is a global technology platform company that helps our customers and communities overcome their most important financial challenges. We help give over 50 million consumers, small business, and self-employed customers around the world the opportunity to prosper.
Overview
Join Intuit as a Staff Product Manager. Our team sits in Intuit’s Platform and Development Xceleration Group (aka PDX). Our charter is to empower every PM, Designer, and Researcher at Intuit, or anyone going from idea to plan, to pursue their craft with AI Native capabilites. We help turn ideas into shipped products faster by building and scaling AI-native tools, workflows, and ways of working that transform the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from problem discovery through ship.
In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for shaping and delivering capabilities that change how we research, design and set requirements to drive business and customer benefit. You'll partner across PM, Design, Research, Engineering, and Data Science to identify the highest-leverage opportunities, ship AI-native tools and agent-driven workflows, and drive measurable acceleration in how Intuit invents and delivers customer experiences. As roles transform with AI Native Development, your focus will span a variety of areas across the product development lifecycle including discovery, definition, prototyping, validation, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives that meaningfully accelerate how Intuit PMs, Designers, and Researchers do their craft — identifying the highest-leverage problems and opportunities through user research, competitive intelligence, and signals.
- Develop a flexible product strategy that adapts as AI capabilities, internal needs, and the external landscape evolve.
- Drive the roadmap for AI-native tooling and agent-driven workflows that accelerate the product development lifecycle from problem framing and customer research through prototyping, validation, and delivery.
- Understand how rapid shifts in AI and agentic technology could reshape product craft at Intuit, and translate that into durable, high-leverage bets.
- Partner across organizational groups (PM, Design, Research, Engineering, Data Science, and platform teams) to understand their priorities and where AI-native capabilities can unlock new ways of working.
- Work closely with research, design, data science, and engineers to develop secure, scalable, and trustworthy capabilities that the product community will actually adopt and rely on.
- Anticipate and resolve strategic issues to ensure your team's ability to deliver.
- Take a data-driven approach to defining success metrics, prioritizing requirements, and communicating plan, progress, and impact especially for measuring craft acceleration and adoption.
- Create and maintain momentum, helping teams move forward swiftly and with rigor, a learning mindset, and a strong bias toward action.
Qualifications
- 6+ years product management experience, including building 0-to-1 products and shipping AI enabled products.
- Deep knowledge of Claude and Cursor and other AI Native tools and a curiosity for this rapidly evolving space. You have built or used skills which accelerate PM or XD Jobs To Be Done.
- Passion for solving big customer problems through deep understanding of customer needs, market landscape, and technology trends with particular curiosity about how AI is reshaping the practice of product management, design, and research.
- Experimental mindset, adept at qualitatively and quantitatively validating concepts and assumptions through rapid and iterative testing.
- Strategic thinker as well as tactical executor, continually assessing prospective experiences, capabilities, and products for desirability, feasibility, and viability.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize, learn, and apply new technologies — especially AI and agentic capabilities to solve important customer and craft problems.
- Strong communication and relationship skills, including a proven ability to influence strategic decision making across senior cross-functional partners.
- Demonstrated team-building skills, including the ability to motivate and guide team members beyond the direct reporting structure including engineers, data scientists, designers, and researchers and to collaborate with a variety of functions across the company including legal, privacy, and platform teams.
- Bias for action and self-starter mindset; adaptable, tenacious, perceptive, and able to execute a well-developed plan in an environment where the ground is shifting.
- Comfort working across a variety of problem spaces as the role isn't tied to a single product surface and spans the lifecycle of how PMs, Designers, and Researchers do their work.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, entrepreneurship, business/finance, data science/analytics, and/or innovation; MS in Technical Field or MBA a plus (equivalent professional experience will be considered).
