Staff Software Engineer (Python) at BairesDev
In this role, you'll bring technical leadership to API-driven products used by partners, balancing hands‑on engineering with design decisions that shape the platform's direction.
What You’ll Do
- Design and evolve external APIs for partners
- Build data products and APIs from the ground up.
- Contribute to the architecture of SaaS and API-as-a-Service offerings in the cloud.
- Apply serverless and DevOps practices to deliver reliably.
- Lead technical design decisions across teams.
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience with Python and either C#/.NET or Java.
- Background designing external APIs for partners, including versioning, authentication, and rate limiting.
- Hands‑on work building SaaS or API-as-a-Service products.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures, DevOps practices, and API gateways.
- Advanced level of English.
