Staff Software Engineer

Satispay is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to define the long-term technical vision and architect subsystems powering our features. You will lead cross-functional teams across backend infrastructure to support millions of users and financial goals.

You will drive architectural improvements, mentor engineers, and champion high-quality engineering practices while collaborating across the organization to stay ahead of FinTech trends. Hybrid work in Milan offered.

Define technical strategy for multiple domains and cross-product initiatives. Advance architecture with scalable, high-quality systems. Provide technical leadership and drive alignment across teams. Develop next generation technical leaders and promote engineering excellence. Deliver impact by improving backend infrastructure for millions of users. 7+ years in backend software engineering, with microservices in fast-paced environments. Deep Java experience and strong cloud knowledge (AWS) to scale complex systems. Excellent cross-team communication and strategic thinking.
