Store Cashier

Market Place Cashier (Full Time)

Location: Brewster, NY

Pay: $16

Schedule: Rotating schedule || 5 days per week || Must be able to work on weekends

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service by greeting customers and answering questions.
• Operate the cash register and POS system to accurately process purchases and payments.
• Handle cash, credit cards, refunds, exchanges, and gift card transactions.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Bag customer purchases and keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with stocking merchandise, organizing displays, curbside pickup, repack operations, and inventory counts as needed.
• Help maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous retail, customer service, or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately process transactions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Availability to work a full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
