About the role
As Store Manager, you’ll lead day-to-day operations, build a high-performing team, and create a stand-out store culture. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll influence positive outcomes for customers, the team, and the business.
You will report to the Area Manager and be responsible for:
Team & Culture: Build a skilled, passionate team by recruiting for values, coaching performance, developing capability and driving service excellence.
Leadership: Lead through the Autobarn values, inspiring an inclusive, high‑performing team while driving sales growth, operational excellence and customer experience.
Health & Safety: Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance and proactive risk management
Store Standards: Maintain visual merchandising, promotional accuracy, and presentation standards
Financial & Admin: Manage budgets, rostering, inventory, and performance metrics to optimise results and minimise loss
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or senior retail leader
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high‑performing teams
- A sales‑driven mindset with the capability to deliver financial results and KPI’s
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- A values‑led, collaborative, and adaptable approach, with the ability to lead change and build strong customer and retail relationships
- Commitment to workplace health & safety, compliance, and risk management practices
